premiere: Lightning Bug - Bobby

I’ve been talking to Brooklyn musician Audrey Kang about her project which “started out as a few best friends and somehow ended up as a band (we’re still best friends though). At first, it was a very private project and working together felt like being in a secret club. We had this loosely enforced rule that while we were working, there always had to be one person napping. It was pretty magical.”

A year later, things are coming together for them. They have a full-length album finished and their very first show on Saturday, January 31st at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn.
