Hooked up with our buddy Mark from yvynyl to present this night of aural fun in Brooklyn, right under the BQE at Union Pool, on Friday, Dec 14th. Hey Philly: the Dum Dum Girls and Veronica Falls are playing Making Time this Friday at Voyeur, and to celebrate, they’re doing a fun “Valentime” Project for charity:
In 5 locations (Last Drop, Ultimo, One Shot, Barbarella & Voyeur) around the city we have placed Making Time decorated Valentine boxes with heart shaped Valentine cards and a sharpie attached to each one. We are asking people to fill out these valentine cards and place them into the boxes. For each valentine card filled out by this Friday, Making Time will donate $1 to Musicopia, a nonprofit organization that aims to enrich and fund music programs in Greater Philadelphia area schools. The filled out Valentines will also be hanging on the wall in the lobby at Making Time VALENTIME where people can find them when they come to the party on Friday.

Here’s some exciting news in the magical land of PARENTZ! Tonight, PARENTZ will join Youth Lagoon and Young Magic in an extraordinary celebration of live pop music! Ears Of The Beholder is hosting this most righteous occasion at San Francisco’s Bottom Of The Hill rock venue starting at 9PM. The concert is sold-out, but maybe you can schmooze with one of the band members for a guest admission… you never know!
