Marian Hill - One Time
If you’d like to see this show here in Philadelphia, my friend Portadelphia and I are partnering up to support them at Boot & Saddle on Tuesday evening. Bonus, stoked to be my first time catching another great act I’ve covered, R&B duo Elegant Animals. See you there!

Marian Hill is a Philly duo comprised of two friends- singer Samantha Gongol and producer Jeremy Lloyd. Their friendship dates back to when they were both in middle school theater in the suburbs of Philadelphia. They went their separate ways during college, but eventually linked back up to create music together.
Fast forward to last month and they invited us out to the middle school auditorium where their friendship started. The principal was kind enough to allow us to have free range over the space as long as we didn’t make a mess. After we figured out how to work the lighting system and the PA, we documented two songs. The first being their latest single, “One Time”.
